Parent Resource Classes                                                               Class Calendar

Introduction                                                                  Download Brochure
Each session has 2 parts. The first will be the presentation of a general parenting concept through the use of video, live demonstrations, and practice opportunities. The second part has been created to address the participant's specific questions and concerns about children's behavior. Current hot topics in parenting will also invite interesting and lively discussions. The classes are interactive and participant driven to meet the needs of a diverse group of parents.

The face of parenting has changed a great deal over time which means there exists a non-traditional family picture. Many more grandparents, aunts, and uncles are parenting children other than their own. Families are faced with numerous changes when it comes to divorce, blended families and single parenthood. These factors coupled with the daily challenges of helping children to grow can make parenting both rewarding and challenging. Come join us for the Parenting Resource Classes to discover some techniques that can make parenting less stressful and even more pleasurable.
