Careers at CPC

The Child Protection Center of Ross County, a Children’s Advocacy Center, with the mission to reduce the incidence and trauma of child abuse through a coordinated, multi-agency approach, is accepting resumes for candidates that have experience working with child victims of physical and sexual abuse.

CPC is interested in candidates that have a Bachelor’s Degree, Masters preferred in the social services field. Prior experience working with child survivors of abuse, child development, child protection services or the criminal justice system is desired.  Prior forensic interviewing training preferred but willing to invest in candidates that demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities to become trained in forensic interviewing. Individual counseling skills are critical.
 
If you have a working knowledge of the dynamics of child abuse, strong organizational skills, ability to engage children in counseling or interviewing, the ability to communicate well verbally and in writing, and can contribute to the good of the overall team and organization, please send your resume and cover letter to:

CPC positions are granted funded and contingent upon availability of funding.   
Your donation goes directly to the education to prevent children from being abused with our Body Safety class and Stewards program, medical costs associated with examining each child, counseling to help the children and their families and to help create a safe, child-friendly environment.
